Foundation
The Excelsior
Springs Health
Care Foundation,
formed in 1991,
provides a means
by which
individuals and
corporations can
take an active
role in
sustaining the
future of health
care in our
community.
The Foundation
relies on the
generous support
of the people to
help maintain a
distinguished
standard of
excellence
within the
Hospital.
As we face the
challenges of an
uncertain
future, it
requires the
support of the
Foundation to
help maintain
and advance the
quality of care
demanded.
By developing a
solid financial
base, the
Foundation
continues to
purchase
essentials for
the future.
There are many
ways to

the Foundation,

Volunteer Opportunities / Auxiliary
Volunteers, known as Hospice Angels, assist professionals in providing support and care to the Hospice program. Hospice Angels come from all disciplines and backgrounds. Some Hospice Angels sit with the patient to provide relief to caregivers. Some Angels are members of the clergy, offering their services. Other Angels are teachers or retired nurses who come to sit with patients, visit families or speak to groups on behalf of Hospice services at
ES Hospital. All of our
Angels share a common bond, a desire to help.
The Auxiliary is
active in
raising funds to
purchase
equipment for
the Hospital.
Fundraising
activities vary
from year to
year. It
operates a gift
shop, pictured
below, and
promotes various
fundraising
activities
throughout the
year. Volunteer
opportunities
are available
throughout the
Hospital and for
the fundraising
activities. The
Auxiliary has
approximately 75 members.
